LONDON

Last month I travelled down to London, a few days before LFW took place. I've not been down to the fashion capital for while now and I love the place, so it was a must to go! Unfortunately I could not get the time off work to visit any shows this year. I'm one of those people who are really in store window displays and visual merchandising, so with all the action and new season upon it was a great time to snap some inspirational windows.

Below are a couple of my current favourite displays:
Hobbs window display, Covent Garden, London September '13

Hobbs isn't my "normal" brand that I would shop in. However when walking past this store on busy street in London, my eyes were just drawn in to the display. (Which of course any good window should do!) The woodland creatures and shoes mimicking cakes on display made me want to stop and look in store as I was so intriqued. As for the outfit in the bottom right, WOW I'm in love. Just perfect for any fall evening.

Liberty London window display, London September '13

Liberty is one of my favourite places to visit in London. It's stunning and full of Old English character. Although items are slightly out my price range, I still always go for a browse around if possible! A while ago I read about mannequins with tattoos etc and this made me think back as these are another take on this with the patterns.

Let me know what are your favourite cities and stores are to visit

A Little Intro!

Hi, welcome to Luann.

Who, What, Where?

Who?
My name is Lucy Henshaw, I come from Nottingham in the East Midlands of England. I am 21 years old and a recent graduate of Nottingham Trent University, where I studied International Fashion Business. I also previously graduated from Fashion Interpretation & Practice at New College Nottingham.

What?
The blog is going to consist of all the things I am passionate about and love in life (cringetastic!) This will mainly include fashion, of course.

Where?
Currently I am living back home very close to Nottingham, after just graduating for the final time this year! I miss being a student so muchhhhhh! The hectic lifestyle, the all nighters and the rest. So to keep me creative and inspired I now have this blog. Hopefully within the next year I will be setting sail on my own little journey somewhere in the world.
